Among other things Ms. Bako also prepared court reports for hearing, reviewed court orders prepared and served warrants, and consulted with attorneys in reviewing court orders. Ms. Bako stayed afloat and informed she attended workshops, trainings, professional conferences, community events, court hearings. She reviewed the department’s policies through professional publications, the internet, journals, and meetings in order to adapt to changes in federal and state laws.
The rise of HIV/AIDS infection in Africa and relentless terrorist activities propelled Ms. Bako to come to the plight of women and children who are mostly impacted by such activities. She has engaged in bringing awareness to the needs and had encouraged and motivated individuals and organizations to come to the aid of these women and children.
